Music for a Cause

Eastern Winds believes in and supports music for a cause, and has helped numerous non-profit and non-governmental organizations involved in educational, developmental and socio-economical causes, including some of the best rated in Charity Navigator.

The band leverages music as a catalyst for happiness, awareness and change. Donations and sponsorships help us perform quality music concerts by supporting costs involved, such as auditorium rentals, insurance, publishing and promotional marketing at various community locations and media outlets, digital marketing, sound, light and camera equipment purchases or rentals, and more.

Eastern Winds is not a fund-raising mechanism for any organization. Our concerts are always managed with zero overhead. Ticket prices for our music concerts are always reasonably priced. There is no attempt made to maximize concert profits at the expense of performance quality and audience experience. Wherever feasible, all work directly related to our music concerts is undertaken by our artists and public volunteers. Assistance from partners and sponsors may be sought for certain tasks, especially ticket sales.

A percentage of the profits generated from our music concerts may be donated to the causes we support. We may prefer certain organizations to others, simply because we see their mission, work-style and philosophy as most appropriate. Our artists decide this on a per concert basis. We do not guarantee any organization that any of our current or future profits will benefit them.
